Our passion, your convenience.
Hi there, we’re the Benjamin family. We love art and have been investing and collecting artworks for decades. We enjoy the business side of art, which means we’ve also experienced the difficult side too, and that’s how Art Directly first came to be; while it’s exciting when a piece you own sells for a great price, the processes and patience needed for achieving such a result comes with no guarantees and isn’t for everyone. What if there was a more direct way to sell? What avenues are available for when time and effort are valuable factors too?
Art Directly is a service which aims to provide a new avenue for selling your art. And by new, we mean the oldest method: direct transaction from one person to another. We enjoy art. We are passionate about the industry. We dedicate our time to this business. Let us purchase your art from you and we’ll take on the risk of finding a buyer - whether that’s 1, 2 or even 10 years from now.
Behind the scenes we have an extensive network of experts that assist us in determining our offers for your artwork. We believe the benefit of Art Directly only works if you are happy with any offer made, and encourage you to seek a 3rd party valuation to ensure you have a sense of what your art is worth independent of us. Once we’re all happy with the offer and artwork, a deal is drawn up and the transaction made. It’s direct, it’s easy.

Idit has held a lifetime interest in art, both local and international. She has a passion for the creative process and loves the stories behind the artworks. Idit’s background is in education as well as ongoing considerable voluntary work, with museums, community organisations, as well as support networks for new mothers.
It’s Idit’s focus on people that makes her so easy to deal with, responsive and interested in making art agreements that leaves everyone happy.
